Voltison is a joint venture between Chint Solar and Voltis. Together, we develop utility-scale projects that support the UK’s energy transition, a flexible grid and strengthen energy security. 

Our portfolio includes over 15 projects across the United Kingdom, ranging from locally consented solar, battery and wind projects to large-scale Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects progressed through Development Consent Orders. 

By combining Voltis’ experience in originating and developing projects in the UK with Chint Solar’s expertise in EPC and financing, we realisresilient energy infrastructure for generations to come. 

About Chint Solar

Chint Solar is an experienced developer of renewable energy projects across Europe. It has realised over 1 gigawatt of solar farms in the Netherlands, Germany, Hungary and Portugal. In the UK, the company is developing a portfolio of solar, wind and BESS projects across the country. 

The team, with offices in London and Wrexham, has long-standing experience in the renewable energy sector. As a result, they know the UK market inside out. They work closely with local stakeholders, focus on practical solutions and are committed to driving the energy transition.

About Voltis

Voltis is an experienced renewable energy developer with a particular focus on utility-scale development of wind, solar, and battery (BESS) projects across the UK. Over the past two years, Voltis has identified and contracted over 10,000 acres of land across the UK, secured consent for c.800 MWp of solar and battery projects (at various stages of construction), and is positioned to submit planning applications for a further eight-plus solar and battery projects across 2026, with a combined capacity of over 1 GW.
